TO ALL DCLC CADETS / RATINGS (4TH YEAR/APPRENTICESHIP/BS) who are onboard and who are about to onboard…and NOT YET ENROLLED (FOR INTERNATIONAL ROUTE ONLY)
As per joint CHED-MARINA Memorandum Circular No. 01 June 17, 2019 Section 3.3, Onboard Training (OBT) shall be enrolled before the commencement of the seagoing service. Students who may not have enrolled the OBT prior to embarkation can still be enrolled, however, the OBT shall be counted only from the date of enrollment.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE BS ENROLLMENT:
1. Contract and / or Agreement from Shipping Company
2. If previously onboard, bring Crew List and / or Certificate of Sea Service
3. Passport (Info page) for overseas only
4. 2×2 Pictures (Black Liberty)
5. Seaman’s Book (Info page)
6.DCLC School ID / School ID Number
7. SDSD Certificate and BT SOLAS Certificate
8. TRB (first page and must be registered by STO) (for cadet)
9. TOR / Transcript of Records (with remarks: for seaman’s book)
10. Seafarers Registration Number
